Brea Reese Watercolor Resist Panel

Hello Friends!

How is Spring in your neighborhood? Ours seems like it has finally arrived. MN has been cruel this year and it has taken some time to finally see some flowers and the leaves out on the trees. Oh and I can't forget about the beautiful sounds of the chirping birds.

Soon shall come the butterflies!

So what better way to wait for them than to sit down with my granddaughter and have a little crafting with the Brea Reese Watercolor Resist Panel which happens to have a butterfly on it!

First thing we did was gather all our supplies.

Supplies:

Brea Reese Watercolor Resist Panel
Brea Reese Glitter Inks  Orange, Pink, Medium Magenta
Brush
Water

We removed resist panel from package.

Started to apply color, starting with Orange.

It already is gorgeous and my granddaughter was so proud of herself it gave her confidence in her art. Next she applied Pink and the the Medium Magenta.

So beautiful! She absolutely adores it!

Double win, happy granddaughter and fun crafting!

May 15th - National Chocolate Chip Day!

Hello friends!

Did you know that there was a day just for chocolate chips?

I sure didn't!

But there is and today is the day!

I decided to have some fun, I took out a bag of chocolate chips and my Brea Reese Watercolor Pan set and started to paint.

I think now is a GREAT time to tell you that many stores are now carrying Brea Reese products!
                      Target, Hobby Lobby and Michael's.

Do you know how hard it was to paint and not eat the chocolate chips?

Every darn morsel sitting there all chocolate like, baiting me to take a bite. UGH!

I did bite into a few morsels!

LOL! It kept changing the image!

The stage was set!

Already the chips are missing in action!

Happy National Chocolate Chip Day!

I know you want one!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy at least one chocolate chip something today!

Watercolor Elephant with Brea Reese

Hello friends!

Today I have a fun little drawing I did, I have been practicing. I thought it would make a great card! It is a Elephant! I love Elephants and I have been practicing drawing them.

So today I added Brea Reese Watercolors and used the Brea Reese Water based markers.

Supplies Needed:

I started with my drawing. So cute, even if I do say so myself!!!!

I wet the inside of the elephant with water and start to add color. I build up color as I go along.

At this point you can start shading and add grass.

I LOVE the way the water based markers and the watercolors work together!

Let dry and come back over with black waterproof ink for eyes and toes if desired!

LOVE this little one!!!

I am going to call this "Never Forget".

Vintage 6" X 6" ART-C Altered Canvas Chipboard

Hello friends!

I have not shown my vintage side for a while and I thought today I would bring you a
fabulous 6" X 6" altered canvas chipboard.

I am pretty excited to say I am a new Brand Ambassador for ART-C Brand and I have received some new products and have combined them with some vintage items and even some Brea Reese Watercolor Cream Sticks!

Supplies you will need:
Gather all materials needed.

Using one canvas chipboard and a brown and orange watercolor cream, random scribble on canvas and move it with water and brush.

Stamp sentiment onto tag. I crumbled and distressed my tag after stamping. Stamp each of the four corners with the corner stamp.

Decorate and embellish your canvas as you wish. vintage clothespin with lace wrapped around it. Vintage cut out, old card. I did come back with some brown and darkened some more areas.

Really fun and simple. Hang from a hanger, frame it or make a Journal cover with it. so many possibilities!

Thanks for stopping by. See you next week with a fun spring frame!
